BaseShield™ SubBase Defence is a purpose-built structural component, not a commodity mesh product. The price reflects its specification, construction quality, and intended application as a permanent ground-contact barrier.
Hot-dip galvanised after welding means the corrosion protection is applied once the mesh structure is complete — protecting every joint and wire end. This is the correct specification for permanent ground-contact use. Cheaper products use pre-galvanised wire that leaves exposed steel at every weld point.
